Text Verse: Mark 4:24
"And he said unto them, Take heed
what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto
you that hear shall more be given."
Introduction: Much is made of preaching today, but we have attention here drawn to what and
how we hear. The art of attention is as difficult as that of homiletics. Notice: 1. Here Is A Precept (Mark 4:24) "And he said unto them,
(John 10:5) "And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers."
(Matthew 13:23) "But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty."
2. Here Is A Proverb (Mark 4:24) "And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given."
