Bus Ministry The Bible says in Matthew 19:14,
"But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to
come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven." Desiring
to give everyone an opportunity to attend church and learn more
about our Savior Jesus Christ and His love, we began a ministry that
makes this possible.
We consider it a real honor for parents to
allow us to bring their children to our services. If you would like

Chaplain Ministry
We believe that our Law Enforcement Professionals have never been
more important to our nation and security than they are today. They
serve as the buffer between our well-being and lawless terrorism.
The attacks on our nation are not over, and it is our Police
Officers who will protect and defend us, even if it costs them their
lives.
Christians must be faithful to pray for the safety and encouragement
of our men and women of law enforcement every time we hear a siren;
every time we pass a police officer who has someone pulled-over on
the street. These are opportunities to put the power of prayer into
action.
It is the duty and privilege of the local church to be in prayer for

We have been instructed to go into all the world with the Gospel.
One way we try to help in carry out this commission is by providing
print and audio materials.

Manna Ministry The manna
ministry is a food ministry to help families stretch their food

Missions Jesus gave this
commission to His disciples: "Go ye therefore,
and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and
of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:"
Just before He ascended into heaven, Jesus spoke again to His
disciples, and instructed them, "... and ye shall be witnesses unto
me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto
the uttermost part of the earth."
Temple Baptist Church fulfills the Lord's commission and obeys His
instructions to go to all nations, even to the remotest part of the
earth through the support of home and foreign mission work -- what
we call "Missions" for short.
Missions is the work of proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ beyond our own community and to distant lands.
Nursing Home Ministry
Ministering to those who are unable to get out to come to church is
an important part of reaching our community for Christ. Every month,
we conduct services at local nursing homes, and minister to the
residents in the form of preaching and singing.
Roanoke Valley School of the Bible
It is our desire to train the lives
of individuals to better
serve our Lord, to help instill in their lives convictions
concerning the Bible, salvation, holy living, the authority of the
local church, separation from the world to Christ, and to invest our
lives in preparation for His coming.
We are under a divine directive to commit to others those things
that have been committed to us. The education offered is for
the training of full time Christian workers, but is also encouraged
for the lay person as well - anyone who wants to have a better
working knowledge of the Word of God.
We are living in a world of constant change. It is a blessing
to know that we offer to you a learning institution that is standing
firm on the unchanging Book.

The goal of the soul winning ministry is to fulfill the great
commission by reaching lost people in our community with the Gospel
of Jesus Christ, encouraging them to be baptized, and attend our
services. By regular attendance of services, they will be
taught through the preaching and teaching of the Word of God.
Sunday School
The Bible calls us to teach and
learn! While Jesus didn't take attendance as children and adults
gathered around him or call such gatherings "Sunday school", his
words and actions clearly teach that learning and faithfulness are
intertwined.
The purpose of Sunday School is to change lives for Jesus
Christ by evangelizing the lost and teaching those who respond to
the Gospel through our classes. This is the Great Commission.
We offer a fully graded Sunday School for children and adults.

Valiant For Truth is a ministry on the campus of Virginia Tech.
Valiant For Truth is made up of dedicated Christians who desire to
encourage one another in the Lord, and to tell others about the
saving grace of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Each week students meet for a time of Bible study, prayer, and
encouragement. Christ has changed our lives and given us hope,
direction, and a purpose for living.
